Following the successful launch of several pioneering start-ups originating from the University of Sheffield, we were appointed by Aegiq to design and deliver the fit-out of their new three-storey headquarters in central Sheffield.

 

The project involved transforming the existing building into a contemporary, high-performance workspace that reflected the innovative and technical nature of the business. Works included the removal of original ceilings to expose structural soffits and create impressive vaulted ceiling features, delivering a modern industrial aesthetic throughout the space. A variety of collaborative work hubs, meeting spaces, and staff breakout areas were carefully integrated to support both focused working and team interaction. The scheme also included the installation of glazed partition systems, modern kitchen and tea-point facilities, and a full furniture package to create a cohesive and functional working environment. Particular attention was given to the specialist requirements of the ground-floor laboratory space, where compliant flooring systems, adaptable power infrastructure, and modified access points were introduced to accommodate large-scale equipment and ensure operational flexibility.

 

The completed project provides Aegiq with a future-focused headquarters that supports innovation, collaboration, and continued growth.
